Trump's Granddaughter Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant tournament

The rising star boasts considerable online audience

Kai Trump can count on numerous prominent cheerleaders when she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and often plays against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He practically told me to play and have fun," she added.

"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's focused on world affairs, so he's rather occupied."

As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains position 461 in AJGA rankings.

But she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive individual. He advised me to compete, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence exposes the sport to new audiences, particularly among the next generation.

The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and just introduced a personal fashion and living label.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
